Since 2008, we've traveled the world purveying the largest deadstock vintage eyewear archive of frames from the 1950s – '00s. After 10+ years of purveying our archive, it was time we brought the fun back to optical.
Given the demand we've created with our OG VF fam, there was a need to be able to meet the requests of our growing community looking for dope frames to fit their personalities. So in 2018 we started to design and produce our own frames.

Vintage Frames Company was founded with the ambition of creating a new lane for the Optical industry by Founder and Creative Director, Corey Shapiro.
Shapiro is the go-to in the industry for all sunglasses and eyewear options since the early 00's. Through his decades of experience in the understands the lineage in the fashion industry and purveying designer vintage eyewear, he connects the culture to its roots of using eyewear as a form of self expression.

While most brands look to technologically evolve their eyewear production, Vintage Frames Company looks to preserve the past. Our eyewear is produced the same way it would have been in the 70's; when production was in its prime.
From material selection to production techniques, every detail of our frames preserve a unique historical element of the past while also bringing in luxury cues of today.
